Our 43 year old furnace died and needed to be replaced. We decided to take the opportunity to add air conditioning as well. I received two recommendations for small companies from Ferguson and two for large companies from friends. I received bids from all four.

The two large companies sent a salesperson, the small companies were represented by the owners. Both of the large companies quoted between $5k-$10k more than the small companies, one for the exact same equipment.

I was immediately impressed by Rudy from RG. He was incredibly knowledgeable and did not pressure me into getting a better system like the others had. He asked how often we would be using our heating and air and recommended an 80% efficient furnace and 14-16 SEER air conditioner.

Although RG was not the least expensive bid, I chose RG because of his professionalism and honesty.

Rudy and Arturo came to install within a week of me signing the bid. They did a fantastic job, and asked me if I had any questions throughout the process. They went above and beyond my expectations and even helped me clear a large shelving system that was blocking the rear access of the electrical panel.

I highly recommend RG for any heating and/or air conditioning service. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and left their work areas better than they found them.

I would highly recommend using Rudy for your heating and cooling needs. He installed a new AC condensing unit at my house and a furnace and AC unit at my mother-in-law's house. Rudy came to install all the units at the time that we agreed upon with no delays and finished on time as he described. He did an excellent job and answered all my questions. He was professional and put coverings on the floor as to not dirty my carpet and floors. Rudy even reminded me to register all the products he installed so that I would get the maximum warranty.

I was referred to RG Heating and Cooling after a not so great experience with some not so great company I found through Groupon. Fortunately my experience with Rudy and RG Heating and Cooling was a lot better.

Rudy was easy to get a hold of and had great communication. He gave me a call in the morning to remind me of the appointment as well as later when he was on his way to the house. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very professional. He spent a good amount of time checking out all the equipment, taking temperatures at various vents and taking pressure readings on the units. He was willing to take the time to explain how the system is supposed to work and steps he was taking to diagnose it.

I would definitely recommend Rudy to anyone needing work on their AC or heating.

We received phenomenal service from Rudy. First of all, he came out the same day to correct my AC. problem. Not only did he readily find the problem and fixed it but he explained why our problem originated. He also gave advice on how to maintain our AC system. He was very reasonably priced as well. Rudy is top-notch. Incredibly professional and was able to come out to our house that day. He's a one-man shop and is honest and hard working. Did everything possible to get our system running before recommending it be replaced.

The cost of replacing our system was very reasonable and he did everything perfectly. Our A/C now works great and has clearly been professionally installed.

We're very pleased to have Rudy as "our A/C guy". Hopefully, we don't need him too often, but if we do, I know he will be the best guy to call.

Outstanding service. Came within 3 hours of calling and diagnosed furnace problem quickly even though system very old (1988). Drove from Chula Vista to Lakeside to get the only part available for this antique system and installed it without problem. Rudy was very professional and provided me with valuable system safety information after the repairs were made. Replacing the system this summer and will use Rudy to do the work. Very satisfied customer.
